"ricer fly by" fail

I was on the highway yesterday with the cruise set at 75 when I saw a dodge neon swerving through traffic and passing between semis. I could hear the aweful sounding exhaust on the thing like a 1\4 mile back before he even got close. then he slowed down and got beside me and kept looking over and speeding up and slowing down, basically taunting me. He had his girl friend with him and was trying to show off. So I dropped it on down to 3rd just as he punched it. I pulled and pulled away until 110, and the guy was probably 10 cars back. He stayed back as I slowed down then when the highway curved down hill he punched it again. I waited until he was right beside me and I put the pedal on down and passed him again seconds later haha. His gf was laughing at him and he was flipping me off :)

I dont think so haha. Im still getting use to the feel of the car and gear ratio, although it does seem high enough geared to go pretty fast in second :D

I bet that 06 in your signature would scare the hell out of any mustang! my old boss use to have one and she let me drive it, those things move!

well thanks tyler--definately got some balls but i think the gt's have a relatively close 1/4 time to 7th gen SS's. Then again i've been known to give the other guy alot more credit than he deserves--pulled up on a gto once which i thought had me beat and all i heard as i pulled away from him were his tires screachin as he went through the gears. . . . another good memory in the monte :D

haha nice. The 7th gen I drove was real nice to drive and fast, Id like to get one but all of the ones ive found around my area for sale seem really pricey. plus being under 25 insurance for me on anything that says SS is high, my insurance company thinks SS=$$ haha.

well if it was an SRT4 I think the outcome would have been a little different :) haha. It did have badging on it though, I think it said SXT or something like that. I dont know much about neons, but it looked kind of like an older one

Not if he wants to keep his transmission, besides when he puts the pedal down the car goes from 3rd to 2nd automatically. Putting an automatic into 3 doesn't mean you don't get 1 or 2, it just means that you won't get overdrive in these cars, which is smart because you don't want to run overdrive hard with these stupid 4t65e trans
