ran the 1/8..

So tonight I ran the 1/8 at shred and regan cruise night..

First time was 11.12 at 62or 63 something mph..(They don't give out slips or anything here)

Second time was 11.02 at 65.85 mph, had a much better launch. The first time I was turning down the radio when the tree went (friend wanted some music on =/ )

I ran against my friends stock 1985 Firebird Formula with the H.O. 5.0. First time he got 11.13, so I barely beat him. Second time he ran 11.12, I beat him by about a car length.

How are these times for my car?

It's an 01 Monte Carlo SS, Wizaired CAI, 180* T-Stat. other than that it's bone stock. I also had my friend in the car though, he weighs about 160.

I'd get a u-bend delete or a zzp downpipe before doing more launches on the track.

You beat your friends 85 Pontiac with a V8 in your 3800, so thats good!

I would not race with anyone in the car...the extra weight slows you down...and Monte's are naturally on the heavier side...

That's a really good time. Congrats!
