Monte v monte
 

Just raced a 07 ss Monte Carlo in my 04 sc. Mods on 07 were headers, cat back, intake, tune. My mods are on my page I believe. 40mph roll I took off in 3rd since I didn't have time to wait for my trans to downshift but didn't matter. Dogged off start cuz of it but still won by 2 car lengths at 130mph then I let off. L67 v ls4 success lol. Was supposed to be for 20 bucks but I said instead he could just write on his fb that he got best by a 6cyl lol

Love the supercharger wine but hearing that ls4 really makes me miss v8s :(

What intake did he have?

No idea. Cai kinda all the same are they not? Better to have less bends but only difference I know of

No there not all the same. Some are true CAI, and most draw hot air straight from the engine. So you would be better off just to use your stock air box instead of one that draws hot air. The 07 SS should of won since the stock top speed is 156 if your topping out.

Didn't go to top end. I kind of disagree with you to some degree about cai only because of the stock air box is restricting. Been proven multiple times but at what point it becomes restricting For a ls4 I don't know.a cai in the right spot in fender is better. Several places have done flow and dump tests on them. But that's all for 3800 I'm just assuming it has same affect. You may be right? I went to 130 then let off car wasn't topped out yet. Don't know how fast it goes but I've had speedo pegged with more to go. But had to slow cuz of oncoming traffic.

The best one for the LS4 is cold air induction. The other are not worth the time are money. You should track the car at the strip. Would be nice to see what your car runs

With all the mods you have done it would have been disappointing to have been shut down by a stock 7th gen. Nice kill.... GO Boosted !!

Wasn't stock but I mean close since it just has basic bolt ons and a tune. And ya I wanted to get drag radials and hook the nos up and go but idk. Losing interest. Especially after hearing the v8. Had a chevelle couple years ago and I think I wanna go back to v8. Would like new monte but to do a turbo build on that

If not that a gto or ls1 trans am. If monte don't sell for what I'm asking tho I'll just put it in storage for my next dd after my van dies lol
