Anyone else seen this before?
Is it on all the monte carlos
i only have a 3.5. I am sure its a computer thing. I felt that the car could got much faster.
Anyone removed that feature?

yep, the 3.5 and 3.4 are governed at 107. the ss's are I THINK at 125? removing that and I know some 3.4s have got up to 120+. just be careful driving that fast!

You will need to get some form or programmer to change the governed speed or get a drop in PCM. I recommend going the programmer method though.

1 mile = 1.609km
172kph/1.609kpm=~107mph

Just use this as your gauge.... 25mph = 40kph
50/80
75/120
100/160

and my favorite... 160mph = 260kph. :-)

I live in canada and i've gone like 196 kms... thats about 121.8 mph i know it goes faster but i'm too scared i'll smoke a deer or something lol

yea... and car parts. Ive seen a lumina smoke a deer going 105. not wanting to see my montes same fate.
