Default 2006 mc ss vs vw gti 2012 or 2013

First victim of my new Monte. Guy pulls up next to me and starts revving his cute little turbo. I give the head nod...light turns green never saw him ever again. lol Probably opened 5 car lengths by the time I hit 60 maybe he missed a shift I thought that 2l turbo was quicker.

Nice kill!!

I'm kinda thinking he missed a shift to get beat that bad or he spun really bad.

I have the 2013 focus st which is nearly the same car performance wise and I've made a hit with my buddys 04+gtp from a 30mph roll and we were pretty much dead even and rolled it a tie.

With knowing first hand how they run I say he did something wrong. Now with you having the v8 you should be able to slowly pull away but it wouldn't be as much as your saying lol.

Either way a win is a win!!

I was too busy laughing to really notice if he missed a shift or not. How do you like that ST. I was seriously considering one before I bought the monte. They handle surprisingly well are are definitely no slouch in the speed department. The v8 had me at hello once I stood behind it and heard it rumble. lol
