2007 mc VS 2006-2012 Impala
 

So im cruising home last night and this car comes flying up behind me like a bat outta hell, so I move over outta the fast lane, at this point going about 70 ish just mosing along. They fly to the far right lane, so im like okay hes going around, just nice..So about a min later, i stopped paying attention to the road, and look over, and this tinted up impala is trying to size me up ! I dunno whether he knew what the SS on my MC stood for, and his tiny little 3.5 liter had under its belt, but I rolled down my window and laughed.

So as were crusing, hes matching my bumper with his so im like okay.....I guess he wants to get eaten. My mc has no mods besides a aftermarket air filter in the stock box, so as he mashes on his pedal, I can hear it really ripping up his engine, I mash on mine a bit harder and then I was like eff it, I rip it and fly past up, and as I flew past he gave up immediately like omg.

Didnt see anymore of that guy that night! lol.

IDK if you know this but the impala from 2006-2009 also comes in SS and has the LS4 in it. could have been another LS4 fan trying to have some fun with you. I have had other SS impalas speed like hell to catch me, then at the next light talk about how awesome both our cars were.

Look online !! I Got a 2007 shipped from ebay with only 40k miles on it -- it's like a new car.

As well as having an 06 mc ss I bought my fiance an 09 impala ss I haven't raced them but having driven both of them the mc feels a little faster. I think the mc is geared a little lower too. I could be wrong about that lol

People just don't know about the SS...nice story!

Guys with my SS having 5800 hundred miles on it do you think its the lowest mileage Monte Carlo SS out there?

To be honest Mel, I doubt it. There is always some collector that will have one with absolutely no miles and probably stock. Yours is for sure the nicest though.
