2002 Monte Carlo SS vs. 71 Dodge Challenger

Driving home one day on sort of a back road thats about a quarter mile straight shot. As im driving i see up ahead an old muscle car pull out of a dealership located off this road. I eventually catch up to him and he was going slightly slower than the speed limit so when i had a dotted line i wrnt to go around him (at about half throttle). As my front bumper aproaches his rear, i hear him rev his engine and downshift... It was throaty and loud.. (Obviously a V8). When i got next to him still at half throttle he pins it, "whhaaaaahhh" his engine screaming. As soon as he did this i pinned it as my car downshifted from 3 to 2. My car jerked forward and kept a solid pull as the challenger stayed beside me.. Come end of second gear i was starting to pull away from him. Come third gear i finally got a solid lead and got back in the other lane as there was a car coming the opposite direction. The only way i figured out it was a dodge was when i saw the headlights in my rear view mirror XD. Felt so good! My Monte countinues to surprise me! Its amazing how much a stage 1/stage 2 improves your performance.! Opened up my air box. K&N Filter. Borla Catback Exhaust.
