I think that the bumpers look better with those pieces removed. Gives it a more Z34 look anyways, especially if you get the chrome lip off of the hood.

Heres a pic of what it should have looked like...
It does look very similar. It has clips that are supposed to clip to the very inside part of the grille. but if you do this, the grill is very much inset and doesn't look right.
The original on the car was messed up pretty bad. I really didn't think it would be that hard getting a new replacement. Man was I wrong.

Oddly I have an easier time finding parts for the 93 "sploder". Go figure...

I can't think of anywhere you can get a new one either. You might be out of luck on this one.
yeah, stock was what I wanted. When the original came off. It looked like there was at least 3 different colors underneath. The ebay grill doesn't even begin to cover that.
not sure of any other way to fix the problem without painting the entire car.
That wasn't originally in my plans.

Actually:
My billet grille screws into the bumper! No clips, dbl sided tape etc...
Just curious:
Did the billet grille you got from ebay....Have mouinting tabs on the bottom?
That pretty much allows you to mount it anyway you like for best fit form and function...

No need to paint the entire car. You can repaint just the front clip, or find a used one that is the same color off of a Z34.

That's a good question. This weekend when I have a chance, I'll dig it out and look. I'll try and take pics of it and post them.

That would be nice. It would be an upgrade. This car is an LS model I think.

Lets see if these pictures work out. It shows the grille I selected.. It's supposed to work with the 99 but, it doesn't seem quite right.. Maybe it's just me.

well lookey there it has the tabs just like mine does...

So theres no reason why u cant mount it on yours....
and do it correctly...

Those tabs enable you to mount it right to the bumper!

It doesnt say in your profile where u live...
But if you were in the detroit area... id be willing to help you mount it!

U can use self tapping screws to mount it...
