Best palce to look for a top swap? Also anyone get some leather seats laying around? Will pay for shipping. No one near me does upholstery. I also need a transmission mines slipping an hardshifting.

 

Zzperformance.com sells a complete top swap kit. You need a lot of components to make it work. Other than that best option if you want cheap us find a gtp or any 3800 supercharged cars or motor for cheap the convert it with the parts you pull off. Craigslist has tons of gtp's. Trans I would recommend new cuz if your adding power always a good idea to beef up the trans so it can handle it. Expensive. New trans plus building parts looking at 3500-4500 easy

 

If I were you since your not supercharged build the trans first then when you get enough money go with a turbo. Not as quick sometimes but loads of power

I have an L67 Gen III blower and LIM, you would then need heads and a couple of other odds and ends.

I'm willing to ship if you want it.

As for the trans, no point in building at this point if you're just going to topswap. You won't bust an axle or anything else that the 'HD' transmissions have to offer.

 

Im just top swaping. Im only going to stay with stock pulley. So the trans should hold? maybe for s couple trips a year to the track.
