First gen Monte wanted
 

Looking for a 70-72 Monte Carlo, fully restored, no junk, no projects. Michigan, Ohio, Indiana area only. If anyone knows of a good one for sale, please let me know. Thanks!

Nobody knows of any nice ones for sale?

It's tough to find one for sale of those years in mint or restored condition. But they are out there, they are just not every day cars.

Don't discouraged, you're looking for something very specific. Bump this thread from time to time, check things like Craigslist (maybe even put a "wanted" post in Craigslist like you did here).

You may also want to find a dealer around you that specializes in classic cars and might be able to help you locate just the Monte you are looking for.

Also, check out The First Generation Monte Carlo Club. You might also want to contact Leo Konik. He's in MI and may have or know of one for sale.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I tried Southern...none there. That is actually where I got my Chevelle 14 years ago. I have heard of Leo also....seems like he is the guy for Montes in this area.

You could also request Southern Motors to find you one! They are a National company!
