I think it took me 2 years of actively looking for them. Luckily I found them from a member here, but they do pop up every now and then.

If you want the red ones, they are rare, only came in 2000. You might want to look for a custom embroidery shop to make those for you haha.

Exactly what I would recommend. Just take in your head rests to an automotive upholstery shop and thay can embroider you BowTies on yours, what ever color you want.

Maybe, maybe not, It depends on the owner of the shop you go to. I inquired with 3 different shops and none of them would embroider the bowties on my head rests because (legally) they would need to acquire a license from GM to do so.

Keep an eye on the for sale section of the forum and ebay/craigslist. It took just over a year for me to find a pair of the gray bowties. Patience is the key. Just keep looking and you will find some. ;)
