For how many years did these come on the grand prix? Was it just 2000?

Two years, two different trim packages. 2000 Daytona Edition and the 2002 Anniversary edition. Not all 2000 and 2002 Grand Prixs had these, ONLY those two limited editions.

This might sound like a stupid question but how are these held on the car?

some epoxy them on the car, some use 3m tape, and i think someone actually took the head liner out and used small screws to attach them. i used 3m tape personally.

No I think Frank taped them first and then screwed them after almost having one blow off. I could be mistaken, though, it has been quite a while.

I'm not sure who did the screws first, but I think your right, Frank had an almost mis-hap with his original adhesive.
