Thanks! I saw the guy sam with the 800hp monte do it so.I copied him lol. Get alot of the heat out tho. Tires are regular tires, but the lettering are rubber like patches that glue on. Got them from tirestickers.com

Hell yea, you knocked it out of the park with your hood mods. Looks fantastic, it just screams that there is something going on with this Monte.

Chevrolet should have done this from the factory, looks nasty!

I envy you, would love to copy your set up if my fiberglass hood was more forgiving. Your under hood temps will be about as good as it can get, your turbo set up will be loving it. I have went to great lengths to reduce my under hood temps and would die to have your cooling properties.

The shop did what looks to be a very nice job installing them. Do the Louvers have the catch pan type underside for water trapping? The Mustang GT-500 extractor is so bad azz. The more look at your set up the more I realize I hate you, jheesh, you went over the top, love it. I would bet it is one of the Top 5 hood set ups here among the forums hundreds of Montes.

Any ideas to continue the stripes, maybe getting the main vent painted?

I also second I believe this was his factory hood that was fabricated. Most all uniue hoods you come across like this one, mine, and a couple others are all custom fabricated.
