Swapping tail lights between '73 and '74. Can it be done?
 

i have been tossing around the idea of swapping the rear clips between my 73 and my 74 monte's. Reason being, my 73 is my absolute favourite year Monte because of the ass end. So gorgeous! However, the metal on the car needs a significant amount of bodywork to bring it back to 100%. Now, my '74 has a immaculate rust-free body, but am not a fan (at all) of how Chevrolet chose to split the truck up with an insert and re-locate the licence plate... My question is, is there a way to swap over the rear clip from my 73 to my 74, and visa versa? And has anyone done it before? I know swapping tail lights is common from 75-77, but haven't heard of moving the truck, tail lights and bumper over from a 73 to a 74 before...
