They've been discontinued for a while, so it's very difficult to find them. They do pop up every now and then, but it is very rare now

Schaefer 04-10-2017 03:38 PM

Okay thank you is there any way i could get them somewhere like maybe a dealer

I believe the Tony Stewart grille was also discontinued. You can call a dealer to confirm if that's the case or not.

It should be GM Part# 15236535

Schaefer 04-10-2017 04:11 PM

Yeah its discontinued thank you though i will just have to look or see if someone is selling it on the mc forums.

JuniorCar 04-10-2017 04:19 PM

No better MC forum than this one! They pop up for sale here from time to time, but you'll have to be patient for now. And you'll probably have to over-pay

You need to find someone with a 3D printer to make a few dozen of them...:wtf::nono::eek::wtf::cool:

Schaefer 04-12-2017 11:02 AM

I can ask my school and see if our 3d printer would be able to make it

hamerhead 05-05-2017 02:51 PM

hamerhead 05-05-2017 03:39 PM

That's not that bad of a price... worth it. I knew it would be up there, especially if its the GM one. It's just a simple piece of plastic, so they gotta be profitable to manufacture. Maybe I should start whittling them out of wood

hamerhead 05-05-2017 06:16 PM

I just got informed that this part is no longer in stock. just my luck, keep looking.

Those idiots are professionals at stuff like that. I ordered something for my Aurora, got the email confirmation and everything, then two days later, they decided to tell me it was out of stock. Avoid that site like the plague.

I got in touch with a 3D printer place. Here is their reply. My question how many would be worth getting produced???

Dear Greg,

Thanks for your message!

Do you only want to make one pc by 3D printing, or want to make a mold for lots production?
And if you have drawings, and more information, please send it to pansourcing####foxmail&&&&com

Many thanks and Best regards,
Patrick

You can get a quote, ask people for a group buy, make them give you money down, then have them made. I wouldn't hold a stock of anything, it's just not worth it for your personal out-of-pocket expenses.

I would be curious to see how much a 3d printed one-off would cost, more just to see what the capabilities of 3d printing is these days.

Has anyone on the forum used/ purchased 3d printed parts?

ChibiBlackSheep 05-09-2017 08:56 AM

I've played around with 3D printers, but nothing of automotive quality plastics.
