Plasti Dipped car!
lol what's wrong with rhino lined jeep? im ready to rhino line the lower rocker panels on my jeep this week. there's some scratches and paint chips that's why im doing it plus it does look good i think.
There was a lot of talk about this before on here. There is a lot of info on the internet on other forums about this. If you are serious about doing it I would do a lot of research. I liked the look of it. One guy changed the color of his car on a regular basis. I think the main thing is to do thin coats.
For large panels (such as hood), start super light. It doesn't have to cover 100%, in all honesty maybe 50%. A light first coat is crucial. Then each additional coat (after time for drying) can be progressively heavier. I did 4 coats on hood and I think I could have stopped at 3.
If you're serious about it I recommend a kit or different sprayer. My hood is fairly uneven due to me being a first time user of plastidip and it was straight from the can. You can get an awesome final product with better means of application. After doing the hood I thought about doing roof and continuing it onto trunk as well just to tie everything together lol.. But I decided against it because I don't see my hood being in this state for more than a few more months.
