It's easy to put on they sell a kit with a spry gun the whole kit is around $200 I've been doing research on it if you do the 5 coats like they say it peels off real easy I watched a video on how to take it off and the dude in the vid peeled off the door section in one peace I would only try it if it don't hurt the clear coat

Acording to the company (i contacted them last year) it is somthing like -30 to 300 degree's ferinheigh(spell) and is clear coat safe for a year

I had it on my trim pieces on my car for about 8ish months. I took it off a couple weeks ago. The spots I used 4+ coats on came off easily but the others with less were more difficult but still not terrible. No damage to the paint whatsoever. Might be able to dig up some pics if you are interested.

I think it carried over from the truck forums. They've been coating their wheels, rockers, bumpers, etc for years with plasti-dip to help protect the finish. The only thing I can think of on my Monte I'd consider using plasti-dip on is the wheel wells...
