F1 body kit

Thanks for the advice. Im probably just gonna go with the front bumper. Do you have to use bondo glazing putty over it first, because wont that be more prone to crack then just primer then paint and clear?

Depends on the type of kit, as I said mine is the fiberglass not plastic. when you recieve it it has a gel coat from the molding process. I took a 600 grit wet polishing paper over the piece hit it with the hi build primer then the sanding block to find lo depressions and dimples. glaze over them let dry and wet block it a final time. The glaze is very easy to work with comes pre mixed in tubes and sands down quick.(unlike the body fill bondo) May I ask why only the front? It will look unfinished.

Ok well Im gonna order sometime this next week, the F1 front bumper and xenon side skirts and rear bumper. I think Ill go with andys autosport, they seem pretty good. Any opinions on them or problems buying from them before?

Hey jarheadbobandmax:
Just by looking at your pics alone, that body kit is EXACTLY what I want for my monte. Only thing is, that I have the FACTORY body kit on mines (SS) which I was told that it will not come off. I was wondering is there a way I can put that kit on my monte or I will have to BUY new (or used) front and rear bumpers. With the option to replace the kit?
