Experience with Duraflex hoods and aftermarket parts?

Have an '02 pace car that got bruised yesterday. Hood, bumper cover, and RH headlight shot. Debating whether to fix to stock or have some fun. Either way I'll be doing the bolt off, on work and will need paint work done by the pros. Concerned about the quality of stock aftermarket vs. OEM, but price is a big factor. This guy will deliver painted. I'll have to deal with the ground spoiler and fog light cutouts, but I think no big deal.

Like these hoods, but again concerned about quality and fitment.

Thanks.

The duraflex hoods don't guarantee the best fit since they are 100% fiberglass and can be shifted and bent and warp etc. They also don't have a functional scoop, it kind of looks a little tacky (IMO).

The MPD-Inc hood has a steel frame and a functional air dam and should fit better.

Two months after putting plates on my 00 I ate a retread on the hwy at 60mph....broke out the right side of the bumper cover. state farm paid out close to two grand for a stock cover, fit and paint....if your adding a hood and headlamp to the appraisal my guess is you are around twenty five or so which will pay for a full body kit (front / rear covers and skirts) as well as a fully functional R/A hood from pfyc...... comming up on the year end inventory for many distributors so they will deal to get the stock of the shelf..check out eBay for clearout sales.....as far as paint I have bought my primmer base and clear off eBay from Xtream Finishes for just under $300 and then find someone to spray on the side.....My guy sprayed the base and clear then baked it for around $300...
My F1 kit is glass and I did all the fitting , fill and prime myself which I found rather easy and fast. Have Fun....
