Default Dealer photos of my bodywork

They had to hand fabricate this piece of sheet metal. Wasn't a store bought patch. I think that's an excellent fabrication. Keep an eye on your Monte's in this area.

Yes frank, there is a sound deadening material on the inside and it hold moisture like a sponge they said. So they cut the bad area all out and replaced it. Hopefully then same won't happen to the other side.

Looks awesome. Did they take out the material that was trapping water? Can you take it out on the other side.

I don't think so Lou, it's like a sprayed on material, sort of foam like weatherstrip. I suppose if you removed interior panels and such you may have a shot at it. They even had my quarter window out for some reason. Looks like they clear coated more than the rear fender because it no longer has some minor scratched that it had before.

I actually had the same work done to my car. It was hit in that spot so it had to be repaired anyway, but I would have never known about the horrible rust in that area if it was never hit.

Very nice - that's around the same area that my 05 is starting to bubble.

That's odd that they wouldn't just do both sides at the same time, since they already have the paint mixed and the bumper probably off the car...
