Common fender problem?

I've noticed it around michigan and it's happen to my car anybody notice the creased fender because of the door bending it in? I have pics but idk if I can upload from my phone. I wanna replace the fender but I'm wondering if its because the door or fender is off liniment or if this is just a common problem on these 00-05 gens

It's a door hinge problem.. one of your door hinges is bad..

It could also be a rust issue at the bottom of the fender at the door. There's alot of dirt, sand, salt, and rocks building up in this area and even if you wash it out with a hose, like I do,its rusts out and the doors rubs. It does it on both sides.

Yeah it is the door hinges. I just had to replace mine on the drivers side. They used 4 door hinges on a two door hinges.
