Recently purchased a 2004 SS white in color. I know that I definitely want the checkered flag decals on the sides of my car. What color would look best on an all white Monte? Please shoot me ideas, suggestions and most helpful, pictures. Thanks in advance for everyones help.

Black, The white parts of the checkered flag should be your actual paint so the decal is just the black parts. Thats how I would envision it.

 

black or silver...i have seen a few white montes with silver checkers around here and they look pretty good

I think either black, red or silver. I think red would look cool but may be a bit too much.

Definitely not going to do black. I live in Wisconsin and have seen enough black and white cows over the last 42 years to last a lifetime. Couldn't stand to see a large cow sitting in my garage.

Thinking blue or red....Thoughts?

 

I remember an ebay seller was selling the same style checker flag decals as the factory original ones quite a while ago. They had them in different colors, and were one solid color. They didn't have the fade effect like the factory decals. But that was a long time ago.

So you don't want black. Okay, I can see your point. Black & white isn't for everyone.

I think red checker flag on a white car might be a little hard on the eyes, and kinda tough to pull off. But to me, considering I live in Canada, I think of the Canadian flag when I see red and white like that. Or a reversed Coke can.

I'm leaning more toward blue. Blue and white would look really good. And you could do a whole blue accent color thing too.

I would definitely NOT do silver on white. In bright sunlight, silver tends to get lost on a white background. But that's just my opinion.
