Black Headlight Housing?

Hey all!

I'm sure others have inquired about this, but does anybody have any input on new headlight housing for a 2004 Black Supercharged SS? My housing are just stock.. and not looking the best. I already have the black IPCW taillights and LOVE THEM! I just want something that would have similar looks.. obviously not LED tho haha. Just housing.. I already have bulbs that I like :)

Thanks!

Just get on eBay and search 00-05 Monte carlo black housing head lights. There are tons of them.

Yes something like this. I'm just not really sure what the difference is compared to stock. My main concern is if it would be worth the change.

I've done some looking on eBay and everything looks similar, but I just want to know the difference from stock. Looking solely at the headlights doesn't help me much..

They make a big difference I feel. A black housing head light means the bottom inside the lens is black instead of the factory one that is chrome. Hope that helps you understand better. I can post pics of before and after of mine but it won't be till tomorrow evening that I could do it.

I used to have those, the light output at night was worse and up in the mountains I need to see the sides of the roads. I went back to stock.

I loved the look, but hated the output.

I find that interesting, because after I finally got them aimed correctly I really don't have any issues with light output.

Maybe my set was bad. But the high beams were terribly thin and the lows lit up poor. Could never adjust and see everywhere I wanted to see
