I used a cheap satin black spray paint on mine

It is hard to see, but atleast I painted the SLP Grille body color, instead of putting the stock dull black on a shiny black car

Thanks! I left it red just in case I ever wanted to take it off again. Thinking about doing it black now, but you can only see the red on the other side when I take pictures downwards, so it's not too bad.

That makes sense. You could maybe try some black vinyl or plasti-dip underneath as they are both reversible pretty easily.
