Alternate SLP grill bowtie emblem?
Has anyone found a good substitute SLP grill bowtie emblem? I've seen a few guys substitute an OE SS badge, but I don't want to do that since mine isn't an SS. My emblem is faded and peeling, and while I do have a spare I don't want to use it unless I have another one on hand. I found some LSX emblems, but they're either too long or too short (I think the SLP bowtie is about 3 1/2" long, 1 1/4").

I've only seen the SS or bowties, why not put a couple of coats of clear on the backup on that you have, that'll help the peeling problem that they all tend to have, I'm on my second bowtie also.

I think it would be cool to get some LSX badges and throw them on or drop the x and just put LS on the grille. You're monte is an LS right?

If you could remove the center part where the crest was mounted, I'd be all over that. Having the bowtie there at least hides it.

That is why ima cut mine out & mold the grille into the bumper

Thanks for the info, I think those didn't show up in my search because they don't have "red" in their description. I'm rather partial to the raised emblem but will definitely save this as an option. Thanks again!
