Aiming headlights

Hey everyone!

I just want to know what size of reverse hex bit I need to aim the headlights on my 5th gen Monte. Does anyone know what it is?

Isn't it a philips head? If not the way I would go about finding it is just trying out the hexes and seeing which is correct. I haven't seen much to talk on the size of that one before.

you can use a regular 6 corner socket, just make sure it fits snug

and trewyn, some aftermarket assemblies use a phillips screw as the adjuster, some dont. My car had one with a phillips and one reverse torx assembly when i got it lol

The 5th generation didn't use a Phillips. I had a Lumina with the same headights and they used the socket.

Thanks everyone! 2003L67SS, I had thought about going that route, I just fear I'll round the tips and be in worse shape than I am now. The bolts have a lot of what I hope is just surface rust. So maybe I'll try that. Otherwise I'll see if I can borrow the socket my friend used to aim the lights on his GP.
