73 Monte restoration in Hungary
 

Hey!
A small summary her about my project.
The car came from Lombard, Illinois
It is a 73 Monte Carlo with 350 engine.
The restoration started in 2015.
The body was nearly rust free at glance.
However later there was some nasty spots at the
- rear window frame
- under the battery tray (probably due to acid leak)
- the front fenders
- bottom
- windshield was cracked
- the rear window had to be removed due to body work
- rearview mirror got broken off and the door was damaged too
- door hinges
- front bumper filler was missing
- roof was rotting under the vinyl cover at the C column.

The whole running gear was rubbish with the exception of the wheels
The engine was stuck due to the water got into the block and left there for years.

Must have been a very difficult project with limited local parts. Great job.
