3M Scotchprint vinyl wrap
Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? I have been considering using this stuff to wrap my hood in for a while until I can afford to repaint the whole car. I was thinking either matte or gloss black. Personally, having the hood being matte wouldn't bother me, I don't think it's a bad look. I'd either do matte or gloss, but I have no idea how well the stuff works or if it's worth it.
This is what I'm talking about: New 3M 1080 Scotchprint Matte Black Vinyl Hood Car Wrap 4ft x 5ft 48in x 60in | eBay |

It works well. I did my ground effects in similar stuff. I would do it again

Thats a Great Idea Justin!
Maybe it would just be cheaper to have the Monte wrapped instead of a whole new paint job??? Hmmmmm Someething to consider... Theres a Place around the corner that does it.... |
Well because I don't have the $$ to wrap the whole car either lol. The hood is just really, really bad.
And eventually I want to fix it up the right way, but for now I just have to do what I can with what I've got. |
I think it be worth a try

I've considered a whole car wrap more than once haha.. the only bad thing about vinyl is it will just never look as good as a freshly waxed paint job  But is definitely a cheap alternative to a paint job. Some of the matte black wrap jobs looks absolutely stunning.
