I take about two puffs a nite b4 bed. Watch a lil tv, get a snack and sleep like a baby. I would never smoke it and drive. Hell i wont even leave the house if im high. Lol i say its just a matter of time b4 its legal. Educate yourself and definitly your children. Thats all you can do. Then its a choice ya like it or ya dont. I think alcohol is a far worse and more dangerous drug. I could keep rambling but i wont. Yes i like my pot in the evening once all my responsibilities are taken care of and its my time.
First let me say that as a Stupid Kid, I did a lot of Stuff I shouldn't have!
Second, Everything in Moderation!
Now a little story: Johnny, the "A" student and star of the high school B Ball team, went to his prom and had a few spiked drinks. On his way home that night he lost control of his car, hit a tree, and lost the use of his legs.
You hear this type of thing all the time in the news and read it in the papers. What you don't hear is:
Story 2, Johnny, that same guy from above, went to his prom, smoked some Herb with his buds, had a good time, drove home a little paranoid, slept good that night, and went on with his life the next morning!
Hmm, Alcohol is legal, and has killed many Johnnys, Pot is Illegal and hasn't killed any Johnnys . You can overdose on alcohol before you pass out. But you pass out on pot before you overdose?
Think about it?
When I was a limo driver, I met people of all walks of life. Doctors, lawyers business owners, multimillionaires, politicians, who would close the partician and think I had no clue what they were doing in the back of the car. At 70 MPH on the parkway with the drivers window open, if you farted in the back, I would smell it in the front. Weed doesn't smell like farts! And these were highly successful people.
Like alcohol, which recently killed a friend of mine via liver Disease, I think it should be a person al choice. It should be Controled the same way alcohol and cigarettes are. Same age restrictions and all. Then if you do it, Good for you! If you don't do it, Good for you. The government has no control over it as long as it is illegal except for the medical pot shops. And the folks who use the are But a small fraction of the total number of pot smokers. So a guy/Girl smokes a bone at night and comes to work smelling of Twinkees. I would rather sit next to them on the subway than the person who sweats alcohol!
All I'm saying is make it legal and let it be a choice. I think most people will choose not to.
Peace!

THC is a chemical that is harmful to your body. People don't seem to understand that marijuana has negative side effects... Everyone thinks that it doesn't damage your lungs or your brain. People seem to become dumber and more sluggish and suffer from memory loss more. I want to be as naturally healthy as possible given my circumstances as a college student who is surrounded by poor food and poorer choices. I consider myself to be very straight-edge. No substances of any kind. I could give a million reasons why I choose to avoid underage drinking (or smoking), which is easily the biggest abuse in college. I can't even be around most people if they're high because I feel it's not legitimately them I'm talking to. They're clouded from reality.
One of the hardest parts of college was getting used to seeing this sort of stuff all the time, getting used to being around it, and getting used to being one of the few not having a drink when socializing/at parties. The prep school I went to took any kind of substance seriously, and you risked being expelled if you made the wrong choices and got caught. That's not saying no one did it, but it just wasn't as visible (especially being from all different towns). However, this culture shock hit me hard at school, and I dealt with a tremendous amount of anxiety, isolation, and depression in part because of how this stuff was woven into the fabric of college life. I used to judge people who did this or that a lot, and I used to feel that I was judged for not joining them. I'm working on this stuff slowly. I'll probably never drink much let alone smoke.
Edit: I don't think marijuana should be legal, and I wouldn't use it if it were. But medicinal marijuana is another misunderstood subject.

High Everyone

Thanks to all that read/voted & shared their thoughts/opinions on this very controversial subject (topic).
I appreciate reading the thoughts & opinions from our diverse MCF membership that reflects the thoughts of all ages & backgrounds of our world >, our country.
Dub Tyler,
I have high respect for your moral & health style choices. Your words sounds like they were written by the kid
Space had tried pot in his early teens, but he is to much of a health 'nut to smoke or consume. He will drink a beer or a glass of wine with dinner(s) on celebration events & he is buzzed with just one drink (lol) 4>Sure (lol)
I use to smoke cigarette's & pot, but have stopped
I think 'if pot was legal that I would partake on special occasions (everyday lol >not) LOL (+ our company has surprise drug testing) I've passed every test (some-how ?) >
Seriously, I was just trying to create some activity on the MCF by creating this thread topic to see what the current pulse of our membership was on this subject of legal marijuana.
I respect everyone opinions, but I may not agree with all of them.
I look forward to reading future posts on this subject & the direction our nation is going (?)

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts & adding to the activity on the MCF
Peace & Happiness to `all
p.s. 'Tyler > Stay strong to your belief/convictions 4>$ure

Ive never tried it and never will. I really dont need anything to make me any lazier. I'm curious tho I want to ask everyone else who has never done it this question.....Do people not believe you when you say you've never done it? Every time the subject comes up with me and i say "i have never tried it" people dont believe me.

Mr Lou Green >
< I believe you
4>Sure.OK, pass it please (lol).

I think some people don't believe in anything or anyone > not even themselves. Everyone has choices, but it seems that some make better choices then others & some that are not as strong make some bad choices...I admit, that I've made some bad choices & hopefully learned from them not to repeat

p.s. I believe what matter's most is what you believe, not others...I can look into my mirror & say that I believe that I do my best to not hurt myself or others on my journey of life.
The bums & I have learned that by our senior teachers/mentor's & that acted true to what they taught 'amen
p.s. Did I say that I believe you ? Do you believe yourself ? That's all that matters
Peace>Out>Bum'Mike
