WEN dremel tool

ive been wanting to buy a dremel for awile and I found one on amazon, its not the dremel brand.its WEN brand, it seemed like a great buy for $16 for the tool plus 100 bits that come with it,the regular dremel tool cost $30-$50 without bits

it was a great buy,i used it today to customize my fuse box,it has proved its self so far and there are many uses for it,i highly recommend this tool for anyone wanting to do some detailed fabricating

You get what you pay for... but glad it's working well!

I got a dremel with a bunch of bits at an auction for like $15 woot haha

lol that's a pretty good deal, auctions have good deals most of the time,i like this one because it has variable speed from 5k rpm to 35rpm but at that speed your not doing anything but destroying stuff lol

I'm not sure the max/min speeds on mine, but it's variable as well, comes in handy when working with certain plastics that's for sure!

Just make sure if you are working with it and it starts to fight to get something done, you back off and do it in steps.

A lot of those cheaper ones use plastic motors, and once they heat up they can destroy themselves.

yea I don't like to work mine over 5-10 minutes so it doesn't get too hot but that's with all my tools except my black and decker drill, ive had it smoking lol and it still works great,i actually found it at the dump when I was hauling some stuff off
