morning all, another wet gray day here and absolutely nothing planned

 

Good morning everyone! Just gotta get through this workday, and at 5p I'll be in the Camaro shooting up the Turnpike to get to my Parents'. I'll be without internet, my phone is slow EDGE network up there, so don't expect to be on the forum much until Monday.

Last night UPS pissed me off. I live in an apartment complex and our office will sign for all of our packages for us. My Dad's birthday gift was supposed to deliver last night, but the UPS driver just gave me a failed delivery slip and left. Never went to our office to drop it off. Of course I have to leave from work, so I wouldn't be home today to even get the package. I had to make them hold it at the UPS store so that I could pick it up before work this morning. Like I need to wake up even earlier... Oh well. Got his gift, now I have to set it up at work.

I'm so glad to see that the rain moved out of the area much faster than was predicted. I should actually have dry drive tonight!

 

strange i've only usually had problems with fed ex. They once gave me a failed delivery notice and they never even attemtped to deliver it they just sat in the truck on the road.

 

It's the ONLY time I have had this happen. So of course it had to be with my Dad's gift lol.

Happy Thanksgiving eve everone. Well it rained almost all night good thing the Monte was
in its garage and dry. Well everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving and remember
why we celabrate.

 

Coffee stop #2 for me. Just east of Knoxville. Traffic hasn't been too bad for the most part. Wish the sun would come out though. I don't like this cloudy crap.

Hi Mod `Mike & Keane, I think Santa Claus is running UPS & FedX cause they are always not getting their gifts to everyone & then there is the US Postal Service & I will not even post the problems I've had with them . Some companies & people just don't seem to care

I have the exact opposite issue with delivery companys, i live out in the middle of the country so they will just leave my packages at the front of the garage rain or shine, ive been home a few times wen they done this, they dont even knock on the door they just drop the package off & leave
