Washington Cruisers summer events Western PA
Well we are part of a car club in Western Pennsylvania called the Washington Cruisers. My dad is the vice president and we do alot of work in that club. We are based out of Washington County PA but we have members from all over western pa, ohio and WV.
We have a few events going on this year, thought I would post them if anyone was interested.
First we have our annual car show. It is on July 5th.It is at the Washington Crown Center mall off of exit 15 (chesnut street exit) on I-70. We usually get 75-100 cars when its nice weather. We have a larger lot to use this year so it may be more. We give away trophies to the top 75 cars as well as best of show, best gm, best ford, best mopar, best truck, best late model, ect. At the show we have a DJ, food venders, 50/50 and a chinese auction as well as free door prizes. The trophies are all hand made by my dad and I and every year feature a different car part theme.(Last year it was brakes. Notice the master cylinder resevours for the top 75 trophies, brake rotors for specialty trophies and the entire master cylinder for the best of show.)
On August 3rd we have our annual super cruise. It is at the same location. We have anywhere between 300 cars to almost 1000 cars. It is rain or shine. Last year it rained so only a few cars showed up. At the cruise we have a DJ, food venders and even a small swap meet as well as 50/50 and a chinese auction. Plus the mall is open for both events.
Our car club is all non-profit and run by volunteers. Every penny in profit we make at the end of the year goes straight to the Ronald McDonald House charity.

all the super rides @ your events. Member's it's worth checking out.
When I do get a chance to go to car shows, I'm not know as
Space Kid, but the Question kid : ) I'm always full of questions
and drive owners of nice rides crazy : )
You are lucky to have a father that's involved with cars, and takes a active role.

I was also `happy to read that every cent that the club makes goes to
Ronald McDonald's Charities.
The World, the USA would be alot better `if more people/groups did the same.

How far are you from where the Monte Nationals is being held this year?
Maybe your club could bring some of your members cars to the Nationals? How many of them own Montes?
NOTE:
If your club has 61 active members my guess is you have one of the larger car clubs. For my area you do.
Nice cars and trucks. I'd like to meet the members who own the Classic Chevies and see their car.

Where I live is about an hour away from the nationals. Only a small few of us own montes. I know one guy goes to the nationals. He has a 1970 MC. The other member I know that has one isnt really a monte guy he just bought one cause he thought it was cool. He has an 88SS.
