Unusual engine swaps...
Just wondering how many of us have seen unusual engine swaps? I'll go first...
My friend Nick in Iowa just finished putting a 1968 Olds 455 in his 1975 Monte Carlo: www.geocities.com/comwiz00/4550.jpg www.geocities.com/comwiz00/4551.jpg www.geocities.com/comwiz00/4552.jpg www.geocities.com/comwiz00/4553.jpg www.geocities.com/comwiz00/4554.jpg A guy in my car club, Portland Club Grand Prix (PDXCGP), put the L67 3.8-liter V6 in his 94 Grand Am. Unfortunately, as he was going home from a car show several months ago, he ended up going into a field and the car wound up in a "cattle creek". He is alright, the car didn't make it. RE: Unusual engine swaps...
Man the 2nd gen Monte looks pretty nice.
It's cool to do weird engine swaps. That's a part of Hot Rodding in it's true sense. Chris, You better keep us posted on the V8 swap in to your Monte. |
RE: Unusual engine swaps...
So is it safe to assume you'll be converting it to RWD?
If so, that would be an awesome sleeper. |
RE: Unusual engine swaps...
