Did a little laundry an had been meaning to go thru some of my clothes. they were about to break the rod. I had 36 pairs of pants. I gave my brother and his son 17 of them to see if they could wear them, also 17 shirts. I like to keep a work wardrobe and play one. They don't have a lot of money so it may help them out some..
While on my way back, i noticed I have blown my door speaker rocking out
Posted a want ad down there in parts wanted or a recommended set for the doors that will be a direct fit.
Now it's time to cook dinner. Nothing fancy tonight, hamburgers and fries.

Congrats Kerry on the new job. Amy and Jon I continue to wish you luck in your quest.

I refuse to buy expensive cut flowers too. I go to Lowes and get a rose bush for less than half the price and deliver a lifetime of roses.

Congrats on getting the job Kerry!

Not much going on here.. washed all the salt off of the Monte and put the door sills on I updated the thread about them if anyone wants to take a look

I've spent more time in the garage today than with my girlfriend so it's about time to dedicate the rest of the night to her and maybe a little homework of course lol

Evening guys. Thanks for the well wishes, I feel much better now. I knew as soon as I woke up that I was definitely somewhat better cause I was burning up underneath two very thick and warm blankets (I usually just use one of them) and this is even with the roommate turning off the heat AGAIN. Usually he turns it off at night but this time he turned it off after I went to sleep.

I'll be sore for a couple days but at least the worst is over. It's rare when I get sick (I hadn't been sick like this in over 3 years) but when I do, it really hits me hard and it always leaves me really sore.

Time to relax a little bit and get cleaned up for work. Night 3 about to start and I'm ready to get this week over with.

Btw congrats on getting the job Kerry. Amy, good luck on yours!

congrats Kerry on the job... I think they picked the right guy for the job........

I'm kinda in a rut lately at work, just been going through the motions, I don't even enjoy it anymore, but it pays the bills (somewhat)....

Evening everyone!

We got about an inch of snow here. But it all pretty much melted.

I had my Colonoscopy yesterday and I'm in remission - no active Crohn's anywhere - the bout I had in October was due to a bad flare that caused an abscess that caused an infection but everything is better. I'm good for another 5 years - by that time they better invent another prep - I almost died it tasted soooo bad - it's like drinking salt water.
Well I have a 3rd interview - they want me to come in for a couple of hours on Thursday to show me an example of what happens there day to day - I swear I better get the job after all of this. I have to make up another excuse to leave early from work grrrrrr.

Amy, I hope your cold gets better soon. Being sick sucks. But that's good to hear about you being in remission.

I hope you get the job after all that. I doubt they would bring you in this much if they didn't want you for the job. I normally would say being honest is the best policy. But unfortunately, sometimes being honest has it's down side. Like you found out with your last employer.

I hope it works out for you.

Out of the shower now and grabbing some grub. Gotta leave in about 30 minutes. I'm ready for the weekend even though I have no real plans.
