Rick, you awake yet?

Hey Ron. It's 9:15 pm yes I'm awake now. I got the 1st time at 1:30. After only 3 hrs of sleep. Took Ozzie out and let him run in the yard. :thumbsup:. Then had an early dinner. Wife was going to be late getting home. Then about 6:30 I went to go lay down again downstairs. Nice & cool down there:). Turned on the fan for some white noise and slept till till 8:30. Jumped in the shower and feelin great now. It takes me a day to start getting used to overnights. By the time I'm getting used to it. Its my time off again:wtf:

===================================
Hi Space: I really don't drink coffee at work. Well not till it gets a little cold outside. Mostly drink water. About 3 bottles a night. Its dry in there all night. Seems since I started back to work. I can't sleep more then 3 1/2 hrs ot 4 hrs at a time:( So I get up do something around the house. Eat dinner when my wife gets home then go lay down again for a few hrs. No matter how tired I'am i only get about 3 to 4 hrs at a time. Then the night beofre my last night. I try to stay up later in the morning and sleep in the late afternoon till its time to go to work. Then on Thursday monring after i get off of work. I try to stay up all day. sort of adds to my days off that way. If I stay up till around 9 ish. I'm back on my regular sleeping schedule :thumbsup:.........Ok going to start packing my lunch and get ready to head in. yall have a great night :thumbsup:

Hey all, just checking in. Another busy day here. We are the only water damage company that still has equipment left so we are still taking jobs. I have been in about 20 wet basements in the last 2 days. We should finish setting equipment tomorrow. Then in a few days we can start picking it all up again

Hey Kerry thanks for stopping by. Good to hear from ya.

We're hanging in there, taking it day by day. I resigned from my job Friday. I would have had to go back to the 3-11 shift this week after spending the summer on 7-3:30. I just can't be away from my daughters right now. It would have been a nightmare, with most nights probably lasting til 1 AM with fall sports to clean up after. Then I would have had to drive to my mother in laws house in a different school district every night after work, get back up by 7 and take the girls to school by 8. Only then would I get to go back home to my house for a few hours til I'd have to be back at work at 3. I'm doing alright financially. I paid EVERYTHING off with insurance money. We're bringing enough in from social security to live on and I even purchased private health insurance and the girls will go on CHIP insurance. I'll likely start using my degree and do some substitute teaching.

Kerry, hang in there, I'm sure things are tough for you and the girls, but it will get better for you. I can't even imagine what you're going through, I still miss my mom everday here. I know it's not the same, but it does hurt. I'm glad the finances are semi OK for you? It's nice to see you back on the MCF......:chevy: by the way, as you can see Taz got a little carried away and added more of these things........:bang head:
