Good mornin' all. We had a few snow flurries and cold, brisk winds yesterday but no accumulation. Probably the same song second verse for today.

 

Morning everyone.

It just started raining here and is suppose to turn to snow around midnight tonight. When it changes to snow it looks like we'll get about 2 inches here in SE Michigan with very icy and slick conditions tomorrow. High of 47 today and 34 tomorrow with a wind chill. We're already getting heavy snow up North at our cabin; Houghton Lake is suppose to get 10+ inches (for reference, Houghton Lake is basically located halfway between Traverse City and Saginaw on the map below). Houghton Lake already got 15 inches of snow with a storm the day after Thanksgiving.



PS. I'm test driving a Chevrolet Cruze LTZ today.

I want snow here.... So how is everyone spending their last day on earth? Since tommorow is 12/21/12. I assume the world ends right at 12am? I dont believe in that nonsense, but news reports say some people are going crazy. Quitting their jobs, maxing out their credit cards. Me, i'll be at work. Monte is getting a wash and an oil change today. Have a good day all.

 

Any chance you get today, you have to say, "look it's not like the world is gonna end or anything!"

Good morning MCF'ers - the world better not end tomorrow, cuz my Monte is dirty and she doesn't want to go out in a blaze of dust and bird poop! We're waiting for snow here - its still in the 40's but getting very windy and dark. Have a great last day everybody!

Car wash didnt clean the grime around my windshield. Guess ill have to clean the windshield myself. Heres a question for everyone. Tire rotation, doing a left right rotation is a no no? My front tires are newer than the back so.i.didnt want to do a normal.rotation. But i figured a left right rotation would help keep the wear even.

 

Drivetrain wheels go straight, non-drive wheels criss-cross. You actually want the better tread on the rear, even in a FWD vehicle because it helps keep the rear-end from coming around. You already have more weight over the front tires
