So Bristol is today and I'm exited! It's my favorite track besides of course Daytona. If you don't know NASCAR, the reason it is a great race at Bristol is because its a very short and narrow track. Not a lot of room to hold 43 cars with 725 horsepower doing the better end of a buck thirty. A lot of wrecks, and a lot of good technical driving. Its hard to climb the ranks on this track so these guys have to really dial it in if they want to win from the middle of the pack. I got Harvick winning this one today he qualified 4th so it wouldn't be too much to ask of him to climb 3 spots. So that's my day gonna watch it with my brother and hopefully he will grill up something good. Have fun y'all.

Good morning and thanks for starting the blog!
I agree about Bristol. I love the short track racing. I grew up going to South Boston Speedway in VA and Orange County Speedway in NC. Both of them fairly fast, banked short tracks. I also used to read in the newspaper updates about SouthSide Speedway in Richmond. To me there's nothing better in racing than big HP in a tight bullring. These days I follow Richmond, Martinsville, and Bristol more than any other track.
Hope everyone enjoys there day!

Good morning friends,
Thanks for the kind words on my Aunt's passing. The funeral was more of a celebration of her life than a dirge. She was ready to move on (I had spoken to her about two weeks ago) She was an artist and a published author. Anyone she would meet would become her best friend.
Well today I will mow the Lawn, grocery shop with wifey and visit mom at the senior center.
My porter cable polisher came yesterday! yea!

Morning all looks like we may see a little sun today. Off to church for 10. And some family time later this morning. And watch A.D. this evening. Have a good Sunday all
