[align=center]SpaceRider LT3 Sold for $18K[/align][align=center][/align][align=center][/align][align=center]I'm sorry to post that I've sold my LT3.[X(][/align][align=center][/align][align=center]I've been working 3 part time jobs, & enrolled in school[/align][align=center]full time. I've beenputting in[/align][align=center]an average of 72 +hours ofworkper week.[/align][align=center][/align][align=center]My grandfather has sold his apartment complex, and I[/align][align=center]must move by the end of this month. One of my[/align][align=center]grandfather's friends loved my Monte Carlo & [/align][align=center]offered me $18K cash. I could not refuse at this[/align][align=center]point in my life. My girlfriend, & I are going to[/align][align=center]move into a houseboat on the Indian River, & I [/align][align=center]will be using her Mazda Roaster for transportation.[/align][align=center](no more garage to keep my Monte)[X(][/align][align=center][/align][align=center]I'm going to cut back on my work schedule, & concentrate[/align][align=center]on school. It was a difficult decision, but with insurance [/align][align=center]cost, living cost, school cost, etc. It's a decision that I[/align][align=center]had to make. [/align][align=center]I have set up a saving fund for another future Monte Carlo.[/align][align=center]I don't plan on quitting the MCF, and will still stay a [/align][align=center]member without a Monte : (....for now : )[/align][align=center][/align][align=center]I want to thank all the MCF active members for making[/align][align=center]the forum a great place to meet/share/learn, and have fun with[/align][align=center]members from around the World that love the[/align][align=center]Chevrolet Monte Carlo.[/align][align=center]This is not a good bye, just a update on the life of `Space.[/align][align=center]Peace/Happiness to all,[/align][align=center]`SpaceKid[/align]

Man space sorry to hear this i know how much you enjoyed the space monte.

But i do understand how ya feel im averaging 80+ hours a week at work right now and working 7 days a week. and if i am lucky i get a bout a 1/2 day off on Sat or Sun.

The monte is needing to find a new home as i feel SOOOOOOOOO bad for neglecting my baby.

At least your protection is a great you know if ya dont like your guest you can feed the security guards to LOL

Sorry to hear about your MC Space, but sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do. Hopefully your MC has a good new home. Hope to see you in another MC before long. Who knows, maybe if you hold out long enough you will get a Gen VII (it doesn't hurt to dream!)

 

Oh Space.. Even if you dont have a MC, it wouldnt be the same here without you. Its kind of like loosing a member of the family, but priorities are there man, and ya gotta do whats right.

I mean, its not over dude. Schools expensive man. 18k is probably gonna net you a few more years tuition. Look at the bright side, its that much less you gotta pay back!

And hey, you could always pick up a nice 98 lt for 5 or 6 grand anyway, or even go ahead and fix up a nice old 86. Its not the end of the world. Heck, remember that Ive been looking at trading mine in for a mini-van. Get a nice 5.0L HO or maybe a 350... Call it the space rocket.

I'm sooo sorry you had to give up your Monte. I know you did what you had to do. If I was in that situation I would give up my Mini Cooper, I would hate to drive my Monte in the salt and snow, but if I had to choose it would be the Monte and try to protect is as much as I could from the elements.

 

as a high school student about to hit college, i understand your predicament, and i honestly think you made the right decision. less interest on college loans... and like everybody said, you can always pick up an older monte that you can bang around a bit more. it wuoldn't be the same without you anymore space... so we're all happy to have you stay with us.
