Should I do it myself of have a bodyshop do it?

I've been thinking lately and if I went to a body shop to have them fix my front end and possibly repaint my rear bumper do you think I'd be pushing $1200? Obviously I'm going to need a new bumper and headlights. but finding red GTP body parts are kind are to come by

So ? why is it you need a new fornt bumper? mine looks like crap because of the little rattle can job someone took to it but I'm thinking a car bra will cover that nicely.

Because the passenger side of the bumper is broken and under the bumper is broken and all tore up not to mention it's been done by maaco so they painted over the gray on the bottom half of the bumper

Makes sense then lol, I really think I neew some new cheap ok looking rims I think ones bent because one tire loses air pretty well but for some reason only in the cold more maybe its just the tire.

Get it repaired lol, cheaper than buying new wheels

BlackRainSS 01-16-2012 07:54 PM

I know no place that can repair it plus that rims looks like crap too peeling chrome I think a pair of rims from the salvage yard foe $100-$150 wouldnt be bad

Didn't you just buy this car? Didn't notice the damage or what? Hard to say what it would cost but it would sure be cheaper if you could install it all yourself.

I was aware of the damage, I just saw potential and it definitely has it. I don't mind fixing up the exterior as long as the motor runs great. So far the motor runs great minus a couple sensors I replaced and the P/S pump

Id dissassemble it yourself have a shop paint the parts & if anything needs straighting that u cant do have the shop do it than reassemble yourself, its prob the best way to do it

BlackRainSS 01-16-2012 08:37 PM

I was confused I thought he was talking to me about the rims lol my bad, but yeah I saw the rim just dont mind filling it every once in awhile but the winter seems to drain it quicker
