should i buy this????

a 03 lancer evo8, 5 speed, 58,000 miles on the body engine just broke in, dynoed making 700hp for $23,000...... hmmmmm what do you guys think about it? if i decide to get this i will be trading the cavalier on it and using this lancer for my get around car (not really a daily driver because i use a company truck most of the time) i would probably put 5,000-7,000miles a year on it.

thats what i thought, im not a big fan of these type of cars but the 700 all wheel hp is very tempting.....

then i will have the monte, this beast, and all i will need after that is my camaro :)

I would be tempted too. but you have to wonder why it was traded in. could be something there that isnt quite right

Most def worth taking for a test drive! It's not a bad looking car. The underhood shots don't really look that built. I'm not a huge fan of these little death traps and for the money I'd probably skip right to the Camaro - but that's just me. It could be a fun car

700 hp is one heck of a daily driver. Doesn't hurt to take it for a test drive.

For that kind of money I would want to see plenty of documentation but I guess it's had a 131 point inspection so i'm sure it's in good condition. I think i would pass just because i'n not a fan of these but it would be fun to test drive.

That thing is wicked!!

ChibiBlackSheep 03-26-2012 09:31 AM

That is a pretty sweet car... but it is already built.

Where is the fun in that?

For that money, I would love to pick up another car and have fun building it myself :)
