A short Monte story :( :)
 

Well here's a short story that won't be ! As you know I put the Monte Carlo up for last Fri evening! The same friend that sold my 70 Chevelle. Told me to bring it over to his house on Friday afternoon. We will put it out on the berm in home. So I was pulling in his driveway! When I heard my name called from up on the deck in his back yard. I stopped and he said leave it there! ??? I said now what??. Then he and his daughter come down to meet me. He says shut it off and come have a drink. Ok:thumbsup: Nice cool one sounds good anytime. I then asked don't you want to ut it out there now? We still have plenty of day light still. He turns to me and says. Don't worry about it. Then his daughter spoke up. Dad's not going to tell you. But I buying it!!! :wtf:. WHAT ? Are you kidding me. No she says. Dad said you were coming over and I asked if you were bringing the Monte. He told me yes. He wants to sell it. I told Dad Ohhh No. I'm buying it. So after all a few drinks and some laughs. We get ready to head for home. A 45 mins drive at best. John & I talk at the end of the driveway. he says that the quickest I ever sold a car. I said that the fastest I ever sold one also. The chevelle took 4 hrs to sell. The 1st guy that looked at it. came back that night and told John he wanted it. I didn't know till 2 days later. Cause john had to work late both days. And never got back to me. So my Garage is EMPTY. NO Chevelle, No Monte Carlo, & No Harley. Well not yet any ways. I hope you guys & girls let me stay on a B/S with you still. Even that I don't own a Monte any more. I torn apart by seeing it go as much as I was with the Chevelle. But I'm happy in another sense. Cause there's GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL HARLEY COMING SOON. :thumbsup::rotfl:. So thats the end of my Monte yrs for now. I'll need some find of car in the future. Ya never know. It might be another Monte. :thumbsup: ok it's 10:30 pm . Time to hit the couch and watch Leno. Wow Rick. Congratulatons (sort of) on selling the Monte. I myself am looking for an '06, '07 SS Monte. I wanted an SS back in the 1980s and should have bought one. I backed out of my father's prodding to get one. Mainly cause of the monthly car payment.

My '06 LTZ Monte is all but paid for. I can't believe I've owned the car SEVEN years now. (not the number 7 till october)
Right now he has 16,360 miles on him.

But I'm scratching that SS itch finally if I can find a decent car I like. Hopefully it's not white. See I'm not a white car person. That's why all of my cars have white on them. LOL

But hey, you're doing what you need to get other toys to play with. Man, a Chevelle and a Monte, two awesome cars! Can't believe you parted with not just one but BOTH!

Thanks for all the kind words :thumbsup: I'm kind of sad but happy also :confused:. But were moving on with it. The Monte is sold. Tied up all the paper work today and the buyer is happy as hell. I know she's going to a GOOD home. Her dad builds Muscle car's and works on them also. So she's in GREAT hands. But the owner is a lot prettier then i' am :eek:. And 21 yr old young lady bought it from us. She already told her husband to clear out the garage. She's parking her New car in their. :thumbsup: She also said that she's not drivin it in the rain or snow. Now that's my girl :congrats:.Ok goodnight. Been a very long day. It's now 1;02 am time for bed. or maybe I'll check for a trike on Cycle trader :cool: :thumbsup:
