Good mornin' all. The rain predicted the other day missed us so we're sitting at a month+ without. The mecury is supposed to tickle the 80° mark today.

Changing gears, another member and myself have been getting some suspicious emails. The subject line reads 'For [your facebook name here] <YOUR name here facebook>' and contains a link that is supposed to take you to an image. If you get one of these emails DO NOT open it. DELETE IT. I suspect that someone on facebook that we share common friends with got their account hacked and someone is either phishing or trying to infect computers with this email.

Kind of cloudy here this morning, didn't have to go to school today:woohoo:As long as it doesn't rain im gonna be cleaning up the cars, horizon needs a wash and both could probably use a vacum inside. Good afternoon everybody. All the arrangements have been made, our tombstone is ordered. Feels kind of weird to have my name and birthdate on there... Enough of that.
As some of you know, Mopars are my first love. I had given up the old school Mopar hobby and moved on to Daytonas, but I kind of found something:

1969 Plymouth Satellite, 318 automatic, 85,000 original miles, and rock solid. Not a 100 point show car, but a very nice driver. Looks just like a Roadrunner. Price is in my range, it's going to be hard not to purchase it. I drove it this morning. I mention it here, because I may have to sell the Pace Car later on if I get this. Not that I need the money that bad, but I SERIOUSLY will have too many cars to drive. I wish my Explorer was already gone.

Thanks Keane. It has a 440 six pak Hood on it and black wheels, but it's no Roadrunner clone and never will be. All the Satellite badging remains on the car. Currently has single exhaust with a Flowmaster 40 dumped by rear axle. Sounds amazing for a 318 with single exhaust, but I'll be going to duals of course. IF I buy it.

Kerry, only a 318, I'd pass on that, that car is a boat, you need more power for a car like that.........:thumbsup:

Actually, it comes with a 440 and everything needed to convert.;)
Car was ordered with the heavy duty suspension so I don't even have to change the K-member. Has all the paperwork, buildsheets, window sticker... Kind of oddly optioned, has 8 3/4 sure grip rear end with 3.23's even though it was ordered with a 2 bbl 318.
Having said all that, it runs fine. I just want a cruiser anyway, not a drag car.

got the monte inspected today, i'm glad i coaxed my little brother into washing it last weekend, lol. washed the truck today and now it's raining, go figure.

This is my second favorite Mopar body style, 1968-1970 B body. 1969 would be my first choice, also (like the grille and tail lights best). My favorite would be 1970-1974 Cuda or Challenger, but the prices on them are obscene. I'm honestly surprised this car is in my price range, even though it's a 318 Satellite. I really think this car will help my mental state a bit. I was grinning ear to ear when I drove it.

Got home with our Collie pup to go with the Border Collie we got recently...

Our dogs are normally outside dogs. We have a barn and they have doggie doors to get in and out. But we are thinking about letting the Collie in. The Border Collies are so active and like to stay busy and be outside.

Only one other person told me I look like Sr and that was the other day when I told someone I own a low mileage Earnhardt Monte Carlo..

I hope the storm does not get too intense down there. My brother lives in Tampa...

Posting in this because today's wasn't created yet, but I bet Space will move it to tomorrow's anyway. I've been away for at least a week with no service or any kind of connection with the outside world testing for black belt. I'll have to tell you all about it, and my moving into college today and being thrown into the college life. I'll make a thread when I can. I'll be busy with orientation and the first week of classes. LOTS to catch up on. But I've abandoned the Monte back in New Jersey. If my roommate doesn't keep me up with his friend and him playing Xbox, good night to all! :woohoo:

Kerry that is one cool Mopar - my favorite Mopar is the 70 Roadrunner!
