Pro-Stock Legend 'Grumpy' Jenkins Died
 

So sad, I had no idea - thanks for posting.

I remember going to drag strip an seeing him..
His race car was stolen..

Grumpy's Toy Stolen St. Louis
Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins P/S Vega, Grumpy's toy was stolen the morning of August 4th, 1973 while it sat on it's carrier outside of the Round Table Restaurant on Illinois 157 in Collinsville Illinois. The car- a red and white 1972 Chevy Vega with the words "Grumpy's Toy" in gold letters on the side.
