Ive talked to driver3 at a few car shows in Nebraska. Hes the real deal looks like Dale.

 

I honestly thought it was a joke with a cardboard cutout

That is wild. He must gave a lot of fun freaking people out.

 

Here is a Goodwrench Racing Report that a fan modified the upper photo is the real Dale and the lower 3 are of Driver number 3. You should see the looks I get on the Highway driving the Monte people pass me and then hit the brakes and will drive along side for several miles just to stare. It really freaks them out when my Son is along cause he looks like Dale Jr. proof to follow. driver#3...................
