Alright I'll play, this is what it looks like when you slow roast a human for an hour and a half or so at 120*+ in a plane with no engines running:

Thanks for posting a REAL pic PacerSS. Where were/are you when this pic was taken?

MAYBE we can get this thread back on track. Hopefully all the "facebook" b.s. is done.

And a BIG THANKS for serving our country! We are honored that you spend a little free time visiting your MCF family here.

No thanks necessary, I do a job just like everyone else and get paid. But thank you anyway.

As for the location, I was stuck on a ramp in the middle of Iraq waiting on Gen. Patreaus to get out of a meeting. Sat there for 2 hours elbow to elbow with 40 other guys in full body armor in 120+ weather in a plane with no engines running. We measured the tarmac at 138* which made a nice draft into the cargo hold that was something akin to opening the oven door with your face next to it.

Yikes. 138*!!! The closest I've ever come to that temp was the paint oven at the body shop I once worked at. I only had to bear that for a couple minutes at a time. I couldn't imagine sitting in the oven, wearing full gear, for 2 hours.

On a different note, PacerSS. Sorry if this has been answered a zillion times. I love the wheels and tires on your Monte. Can I bother you for info on the wheels and tires? (brand/model and size)? How well do the tires perform for you? Thanks!

No worries man, I'd be glad to help. The wheels and tires pictured in my sig(which is what I think you're referring to) are as follows:

Wheels:

17X7.5 Volt Series 751

Tires:

Essenza 210 Type R in 245/45/17

Now as far as performance these were probably the best tire I've ever had. They're a bit tough to find. It's a subdivision of Goodyear if I recall correctly. But hands down I love those tires. For both the aggressive tread pattern and their performance in all weather conditions.

Here's a better pic:
