Polls used to be a big thing on the Monte Carlo forum. It's the American way! People like to render their opinions and make it count. But the poll movement appears to be very weak on the Monte Carlo Forum these days. No one is interested in the photo contest and I don't even know what happened to MOTM.

Maybe these contests are too deep for the kids these days. We're not inspiring thought. So I'm gonna poll with a very important, but not too deep subject, which you've probably already given a lot of thought to.

What would you rather have?

A million dollars
OR
A real, working lightsaber

If you got some time, post on why you feel the way you do...

I feel your pain. A short story...............:(
I recently returned home from a stay in Iowa I was in the town of Waterloo.
The Hotel had recently put in a new Cable TV system.
When I am away for extending stays 7 to 8 months I take a DVD player along so I can watch a movie on occasion. They had trouble getting it work but finally were able to help.
The Manager asked me what my favorite movies were. I indicated John Wayne Westerns.
But I got a new series for Christmas by the discovery channel called Dogfights an animated series.
She looked at me appalled that I would watch anything about Dogs Fighting.:nono:
I am like Seriously!!!!!!! You obviously don't have any Idea of History and Air warfare, Dogfighting is a Air battle Like Top Gun.
I suggested she do an online History Course!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Here to we also have many new folks that start out but never interact unless they have a Car fix issue and once they get it fixed they are gone?? :wtf::wtf::wtf:
We need to have a site that is accessible from the Smart Phone and they can play games on it. I see people walking around all the time doing that. They don't even watch out for Traffic?

But actually I would sooner have a working Light Saber if you had that you could sell it for several Millions. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I feel like I would be held captive by the government and interrogated in a secret confinement camp. Telling them I acquired a real working light saber on an online car forum......

Ill just take the money and run..

Although, the may have the same questions about how I got the million dollars..

Of course the lightsaber'd be cool and all, but I can definitely imagine the newfound owner getting carried away while swinging it around and slicing themselves apart; how are you gonna explain that to the paramedics??

As long as it's just a limb, I think you'd be fine. They hack off arms with them all the time. I think the blade has a self-sealing characteristic to automatically cauterize the blood. Where not quite there yet, but in a few years they'll give you a new robotic arm that you can cover with a glove and nobody will know the difference.
