There was a guy that worked near me in GM a few years ago that swore my lincoln cars being the most durable cars in the world him and his father also owned a limo service company only running lincoln limos ranging from 500,000 upto the one limo that was just a tad over a mil it blew my mind

I think he is scared of flying and chevies are pretty darn tuff. I also heard that honda makes the best motors in the world.....but if you ask me personally 940-940,000 miles it dont matter its a honda and still is crap

I give credit to the owner, you take care of the car and it'll take care of you. Most civics are owned by kids who dont care about the car and they just mod the crap out of them and kill em. If i had a dollar for every oil burning/bad running civic i saw... Stupid kids

BlackRainSS 05-30-2012 05:09 PM

Thats pretty impressive...even if it is a honda.

:congrats:Congrat's to Honda & to any auto maker that can produce a vehicle capable of one million miles...

I like Honda's, but as Keane previously posted... it is the proper maintenance & care for getting the most from one's auto investment.

Thanks for posting/sharing...

I've seen Ford and Chevy (gasoline powered) trucks that lasted a million miles. Heck, a friend of mine had a mid to late 80's 4 cylinder Mustang that made it almost to 300,000 miles. And that was without baby-ing it or anything. He's not a car guy. He just drove it, and changed the oil regularly.

It is great that car manufacturers are making cars that last longer. Actually, it's the engine that lasts longer. Personally I find that the rest of the car doesn't make it. All the plastic parts crack and break, screws shake themselves loose and the car rattles like crazy, and so on.
