The Deuce goes into the shop this Wednesday to loose her vinyl flame behind the SS door badge and get an air brushed flame that will be then covered by clear coat. the new flame will start just behind the SS badge (just a tad wider then the SS badge) on the door and extend the whole door starting more dense by the badge and fading into a ghost flame as it get to the rear of the door


Thoughts?

Deuce should be ready by next week-end I will post some Pics after Gary is done I am not even 100% sure what it will look like exactly Gary is an artist and he will throw in his own interpretation of what I want, I am sure

It's your Monte and a extension of you and such. Yet I voted Bad Idea, I sit back and look at your Monte and I'm just not feeling it. It's adding an exciting race element to the cars appearance and taking away from the Elegant refined classy feel the car projects now. But hey thats why you put this poll out for feedback. Anyway it comes out sounds like the artist you have involved has embraced your vision and can transfer this to your Monte. Going to be fun to see how it turns out.

I like flames `if they are done by a good auto painting artist ?

I did not vote in your poll because I would have to see the artist designs to decide if they would look good on your `Deuce. I think it's a personal choice to have them or not ?

I think you should `do what you like (it's your ride & you will see it the most)...I know the new generation of auto painting artist use computer's & photo shop programs to show you what they can put on your rides b-4 they paint them on...I don't know `if the artist you have does that, but I would prefer that then having him/her paint them on & then you don't like them

It makes the side of the car too busy (don't really care for the gold flame presently there either) and degrades the overall appearance of the vehicle.

More isn't always better...

 

As far as the artist goes he is well know in all of Michigan at the car shows and he signs his work. He also has a shop partnership in California during the winter months

So I complete confidence in his work. It is like getting a Rembrandt painted on your ride when you do it. He did the Monte crest under my hood

My intent was to get an opinion of the flame design I chose. I like the Idea of flames on the Deuce but was not 100% sure of the pattern I choose
