Default Mustang mod update

Hey guys so I just wanted to do a quick update on my Mustang since I have had it and what mods I have done and what mods I plan to do now and just how I have been enjoying it. So as far as how it rides and everything compared to my 06 Monte SS that I had, I do miss the interior of the Monte. It had a lot more soft touch material. And the ride was a lot smoother, I do think that may be because someone cut the springs on the mustang to lower it rather then actually getting lowering springs. But as far as power delivery goes it does better than my Monte did.

As far as mods go, my car came with a K&N CAI. Other than that it was bone stock other than being lowered. So far I have gotten a tuner and had some custom tunes made which completely changed the car. It will now chirp tires in first second and third gear. With the mods I have done I'm probably putting down about 290WHP.

My mod plan is going to be suspension first, then engine, then cosmetic. My boss has a 2008 GT500 which he changed out his suspension for a nicer one. So he has a full GT500 suspension (shocks, struts, springs, sway bars, etc) that he is giving me for next to nothing. Then I'm going to do some eibach GT500 lowering springs to get it a little lower.

Next I'm going to do Mac Long tubes, mac catted pro chamber mid pipe, and a new cat back (probably Borla or Magnaflow) because I think my flowmaster Outlaw axlebacks are going to be way to loud with Long Tubes. After all of that it's time for the supercharger, I think I'm just going to do a roush m90. Nothing crazy, but with all the mods I plan on doing it should put me around the 460WHP range which is in the save zone for these cars.

As far as cosmetics go I'm going to do a roush front bumper, GT500 rear bumper, GT500 spoiler, American racing nova wheels, 2013-2014 style taillight, 2010+ smoked halo headlights, and I'm going to do either a cobra R style cowl hood or some kind of ram air hood. Then I'm going to do some new stripes since mine are faded.

That "should" be it lol.

Nice plans... but if all you have is an intake and a tune, I doubt you're at 290 WHP if it's just a GT model.

Sounds like a plan. I might have some interesting news pertaining to my Mustang.

I'm going just by this video

it's a stock GT with just a tune. and it put down 283 WHP and and 310TQ. I would assume my intake would have a slight gain over the stock air box. I don't know what kind of dyno they use to do there pulls. but again that's what I'm basing my numbers on until I can actually have mine put on the dyno which I probably won't do until I supercharge it. I know all cars are different so I may be lower then that, but I should still be pretty close to at least that 280WHP mark.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to do a quick update. I just purchased my cams, they should be here Tuesday and I'm going to try to get them the following weekend. After that I'm going to get the suspension out of the way. After that it's going to be time to start saving for a supercharger.

it has the 4.6L 3v engine and the 5r55s auto. My tune is just really aggressive as far as throttle response and shift firmness goes.
