Smile October Photo Contest "FALL COLORS" ( in Memory of those we have lost this year)

October Photo Contest
"FALL COLORS"

So lets do a Photo Contest
In Memory of Barb, Stumpi, and Butch
who we lost this year.
They were active in the Photo shoots.
With the upcoming fall foliage colors this will be a great time to take a few pics
with your Monte Carlo.
Lets have all the entries in by October 29th which is a Sunday.
Be as creative as you like.

If you haven't played this game before:
1.take a photo of your Monte with the fall foliage in the background.
2. Post it in this thread between now and the 16th of October.
3. we can do a maximum of 10 entries if we have more we can do a second poll and then a run off for a final winner.
4. a reference shot is included to stimulate creativity, imagine your Monte on this road.
5. NO PHOTO SHOPING IS ALLOWED, HAS TO BE A PHOTO YOU TOOK, AND YOU MAY CROP IT.

This is not a Halloween theme.
We can do one of those after this one.

I want to jump all over this. But the colors haven't really changed yet. I'll be racing against time before storing the car too. I think I did Halloween And Christmas shoots in the same day last year

I know what you mean, we took a road trip out west today and the trees are just still real green, there were some with a little yellow. It was 97 degrees today in Western Nebraska and kinda windy besides. Even the Corn in the fields were not ready some places yet?
We can always go up to the 22nd of October to gain just a little more time.

Peak color in Southern Michigan looks like it's going to be earlier this year, like first week of October. The trees have definitely started changing here, mostly just slight color at this point. However a lot of the locust trees seem to be close to peak color already. I'll be in on this one.

Great thought on a memorial for our lost friends! I miss each one of them, so sad to no longer have them here.

Smile This could be one of those careful what we wish for?

Well we went to Colorado for a little bit and got to see some Elk there and here is a pic of the Mountain view.
The trees were just starting to change here some of the Aspens are really bright. Here the Bull Elk is tired of waiting.
They are talking snow for Monday so we are off an outa here Sunday.

Just a reminder that the Fall Contest for the Photo with your Monte is coming up shortly.

I still am waiting for more leaves to change and give me some colors here.

Today is scouting day for a good location.
Tried yesterday for a little bit but just nothing that looks great yet??

Wink

Well here it is the same thing not much color at all. So I am going to extend this out to October 29th that's the last Sunday of the Month just before Halloween. Maybe there will be some leaf changing by then. From my Scouting yesterday I found this shot. Found some other places but not much color there either.
A little more time may help.
